Welcome Medical Alumni!

Welcome to the official home of the EVMS Alumni Association.  We have made great strides over the past few years to develop an organization which meets the current and future needs of our alumni.  As our school becomes more mature and our alumni base is grows, we plan to bring you plenty of opportunities to stay connected and involved. 

There are many great developments on campus and we're excited to share all of them with you through our website and email.  To that end, we need your help.  If you haven't created an updated website profile on our site or provided us with your current contact information, please help us stay up-to-date.  Our mission is to keep you informed and represent the needs and ideas of our physician alumni. 

Whether you live in the Hampton Roads community or around the world, we have many opportunities for you to get involved.  We also intend to bring back or preserve many of the traditions that make EVMS such a unique institution.  With the involvement of our the active students, the association also plans to start developing the activities and tools to meet the needs of tomorrow's alumni.  It is this partnership that connects generations of our alumni and weaves a common thread to sustain our alumni community. 

This is your alumni association and we want to hear from you.  There is no better time to be a part of EVMS!  Whether you visit us frequently online or find yourself back on campus, we plan to give you the personal attention that continues to make EVMS so unique.  On behalf of your alumni board, welcome back.

The MD Alumni Scholarship

Investing in tomorrow’s health-care providers, today.

 

The MD Alumni Scholarship is a merit based award providing one (1) rising second year EVMS medical student with tuition assistance.  Scholarship applicants are required to show proven record of community service and leadership as defined by the EVMS MD Alumni Board.  In addition, applicants must write a short essay about why they should be selected and must also obtain two letters of reference from EVMS Alumni.
